Charles Smyth onboard a neutral ship sunk enroute from Rochfort, 18 November 1794; 4, statement by commander of the Vrow Elizabeth that Capt Smyth, late of the Alert, sloop, had been a prisoner onboard his vessel & was presumed drowned, 19 November 1794
